Teachers differentiate work to ensure that all children are encouraged to reach their full potential, to enable them to make at least expected progress, if not higher.
If a child requires additional support parents are informed and targeted intervention is put in place.
Support is monitored closely by the class teacher and Senco and regular adjustments are made to sustain effective progress.
Progress is reported back to the parents each term either with the class teacher or with the Senco in a review meeting.
Outcomes of the interventions are discussed and next steps that need to be put in place.
